2nd Transnational Meeting of the Erasmus+ Project (TPM) ‘Shared (Hi)stories’

The 2nd Transnational Meeting of the Erasmus+ project ‘Shared (Hi)stories’ took place on September 21st and 22nd, 2023, in the city of Subotica, Serbia, and saw the active participation of three teachers from the Terras do Ave School Group. During the working sessions, crucial aspects of the project were addressed, including story writing, the creation of a DIY guide, the development of a website, and the creation of an interactive map. Furthermore, guidelines were established for the translation and creation of materials, thus promoting intercultural understanding, as outlined in the application. At the end of the event, all participants agreed that it was highly productive, representing a significant advancement in the project’s implementation. The collaborative spirit, openness, flexibility of all involved, and the way the host (Association Youth and Play) prepared all activities marked a remarkable moment that stands as an example of European cooperation.

The Project

The Shared (Hi)stories project seeks to broaden the minds of secondary students in the EU by encouraging critical thinking and a multi-perspective approach to cultural and historical heritage. Through the exploration of (hi)stories traditionally told from a one-sided national perspective, the project aims to foster a strong sense of EU awareness and citizenship among students while improving their English skills.
