En utilisant des histoires dans l'enseignement des langues, nous voulons nous assurer que les apprenants adolescents atteignent des niveaux de compétence linguistique satisfaisants à la fin de l'enseignement obligatoire.
Nous voulons sensibiliser les jeunes au patrimoine culturel et à l'identité culturelle, tant celle de l'individu que celle des autres autour de lui, que ce soit dans son propre pays ou à l'étranger.
Nous ne voulons pas que les jeunes se contentent simplement d'accepter n'importe quelle histoire qu'ils entendent. Nous voulons qu'ils soient capables de faire preuve d'esprit critique et d'envisager l'histoire sous différents angles.
Nous voulons que les jeunes créent leur propre identité européenne et qu'ils aient le sentiment de participer activement à la société européenne.

The Shared (Hi)stories project seeks to broaden the minds of secondary students in the EU by encouraging critical thinking and a multi-perspective approach to cultural and historical heritage. Through the exploration of (hi)stories traditionally told from a one-sided national perspective, the project aims to foster a strong sense of EU awareness and citizenship among students while improving their English skills.
